      FLAME RETARDANT FILTER MEDIA SERIES

The flame-retardant  filter media series features two types of base materials.

The first type consists of 80% wood pulp fiber and 20% synthetic fiber. The second type is 100% polyester fiber non-woven fabric.


Flame Retardant Filter Media

Flame retardant filter media is designed for industrial dust filtration applications where improved resistance to flame and heat is required. It can be used for dust filter cartridges and other industrial filtration systems operating in demanding environments.

The media can be engineered with different substrate materials and treatment options to meet specific filtration, temperature and flame-retardant requirements.

100% polyester fiber non-woven fabric:

A.  170GSM Weight Point bonding Flame Retardant: PET-FR/170

B.  260GSM Flame Retardant PET: PET-FR/260

C.  Flame Retardant PET with PTFE membrane: PET-F4FR/260

D.  Can be used for high-temperature media: PET-CF4FR/270



Remark:

a. Air Permeability was tested at P=200Pa.

b. Filtration Precision, this data refers to the minimum grade of particle size that can be effectively blocked before the initial "dustcake" is established. In the practical using processes, we can improve the filtration precision by using correct filtration velocity, and establishing stable initial "dustcake", etc.

c. Filtration Efficiency was tested by using 8-12 micron 325 mesh talcum powder as test dust with the filtration speed ≤ 1.2m/ min and the concentration of dust (4±0.5)g/m3 ; after more than 5 times cleaning process, filter media makes a good effect on the ratio of filter effectively blocking dust and the total quantity of dust. (JB/T 10341-2014)

d. Filtration Precision Level is tested at the beginning of using, by ASHARE52.2 in USA or EN779 in Europe.
